How It Works

A process built around clarity

01

You reach out

Contact us by phone or email. Tell us what's happening — even a rough description helps us prepare.

02

We assess the machine

A diagnostic tells us what's actually causing the problem — not just what's visible on the surface.

03

We explain what we found

You get a clear picture of the issue, what it will take to fix, and whether the repair makes sense economically.

04

Work begins — with your approval

Nothing happens without your sign-off. We keep you informed and contact you if anything unexpected comes up.

Get a Rough Idea

Service time estimator

This tool gives you a rough sense of how involved a repair might be. Actual timelines depend on what we find — but it's a reasonable starting point.

ℹ️

These are rough estimates only. We don't commit to a timeline or cost until we've actually assessed your machine. Some repairs are faster than expected; others take longer. We'll communicate clearly either way.

Questions

Things people often ask

We typically charge a flat diagnostic fee, which gets applied toward the cost of repair if you decide to go ahead. We'll be clear about this upfront before we start. If the diagnostic reveals nothing actionable, you'll know exactly what you paid for and why.
It depends on what we find. Simple issues often wrap up the same day. Repairs that require parts or more careful work can take one to three business days. We'll give you a realistic estimate after the diagnostic — and we don't commit to a timeline we can't keep.
We treat your data with care. We recommend having a backup before bringing any machine in for repair, and we'll remind you of this. Before any work that could affect storage, we discuss data backup with you. We don't access personal files beyond what's necessary to diagnose and fix the problem.
Sometimes a machine is beyond cost-effective repair — and we'd rather tell you that honestly than take your money for a fix that won't last. If we can't repair something, or if the repair cost doesn't make sense given the machine's value, we'll say so clearly and help you understand your options.
We stand behind our work. If a problem we repaired comes back within a reasonable period under normal use, we'll take another look. Specific terms depend on the nature of the repair — we'll explain what applies before you pick up your machine.
Most of our work is done at our location, which allows us to use proper tools and test equipment. Some software issues can be addressed remotely. If you're not sure whether remote support would work for your situation, reach out and we'll figure out the best approach together.
